This task related to "To The Lighthouse" by Virginia Woolf.

To the Lighthouse is a 1927 novel by Virginia Woolf. The novel centres on the Ramsay family and their visits to the lake of Skye in Scotland between 1910 and 1920. The most important modernist 20th century authors and also pioneer in the use of stream of consciousness as a narrative device.

The work is one of her most successful and accessible experiments in the stream- of- consciousness style.

Two lighthouse keepers try to maintain their sanity whilst living on a remote and mysterious New England island in the 1890s.

Edgar Allan Poe was an American writer, poet, editor, and literary critic. Poe is best know for his poetry and short stories particularly his tales of mystery and the macabre.

This blog related to The  Role of English in India - unit 1 ELT 1.

ELT is the teaching of English to people whose first language is not English. ELT is an abbreviation for 'English Language Teaching'.

ELT in India has come a long way from year 1880 when only 60% primary schools used English as the medium for teaching. As compared to its establishment as an autonomous subject in  other English-as- first language countries around 1940, ELT emerged as an autonomous subject in India as late as 1980.
